27 May Sports Illustrated Swim Search
I ️ New York!
Hey babes. So I was fortunate enough to be chosen to be picked by Sports Illustrated to be in their second round of casting in New York City. But let me start from the beginning.
Sports Illustrated posted on their Instagram that they were having an open call. I flipped and grabbed one of my good friends and photographers Ari Perez to help me put together a submission video.
The inspiration for my video is that I’m tied of hiding my hair so I … took my wig off on camera. The responses i got were nothing but positive and that gave me the confidence to get rid of my wig over all.
So, I left Costa Rica where I was shooting and caught a flight to New York City. My experience was nothing less than amazing and I met the most beautiful women from all over the world. Until next time SI.
Here’s my submission video!

You know what. It's about time I stop apologizing for what others may consider a flaw. Let's embrace our natural beauty and anyone who's not with it can kick rocks!!!! My video submission for #siswimsearch Thank you @si_swimsuit for the opportunity and a reason to take this wig off in public lol @si_swimsuit @mj_day #siswimsearch Ps lol my hair can look a lot cooler when is not under a wig I promise ❤️
